More Cake Pops Please

I recently discovered Cake Pops! They are so super yummy and easy to make. Just follow the step-by-step instructions here. Bring to any family event or school function and you will be the envy of all the other Moms!

This pic is my first attempt and they came out great! So good, in fact, I had to make another batch right away.

Try them. You won’t regret it.

Little Bowls of Chocolatey Heaven

I have discovered an absolute perfect treat for the 4 year old. On these cold winter days, he likes a nice warm treat. But let’s face it, I don’t have time to bake something fresh every week. I stumbled upon a great and super quick dessert that he loves – Betty Crocker Warm Delights Minis!

Warm Delights Mini's Are a Perfect After School Snack That Won't Spoil Supper...Or Dessert

I picked some up at Walmart for about $1.50 for a package of 2 mini bowls. What a great deal!

The 4 year old can even help make them. Since they only require a dash of water added to the mix, he can do that part himself and stir it up before putting it in the microwave for 30 seconds. We’ve even added some more fun by topping the brownie with ice cream or Mini M&M’s. It’s his new favorite treat and he asks for one almost everyday! (Of course he doesn’t get one everyday!) And to make them more fun, he likes to pick a different, fun utensil each time he has one. He likes to try to use baby spoons or some of the funny plastic silverware from the back of the drawer.

Making them is quick and simple and clean up is a breeze since you eat them right in their own little bowl.

Each mini bowl is 150 calories, which isn’t a lot for you or me, but it’s a big brownie for his little tummy.

I love these little Betty Crocker Brownies from heaven. The company has even created a website asking folks like us to send our tips and recipe ideas. What other quick warm treats can warm up a little tummy on a cold day?
