Under Where? Gap Kids Underwear!

Maybe this isn’t a real hot topic for some. But for thrifty moms looking for the best quality things for their kids, I have a great recommendation: GAP UNDERPANTS.

After potty training the now 4 year old, I purchased numerous brands/sizes of little boys underpants, Osh Kosh B’Gosh, Fruit of the Loom, Carter’s, etc. I had a variety and had problems with all of them. The elastic would fray or expand, a thread would pull the seams out, the designs would come off in the wash, etc.

I stumbled upon Gap briefs because they were on clearance and have not turned back. I have now been buying GAP brand underpants and they are the absolute best quality underpants in the world! Best elastic, best designs, and surprisely one of the cheaper brands. GAP underpants are regularly priced at $12.50 for 3 pairs, but they are almost always on the clearance rack or on sale. (Sizes range from XXS-XXL for kids – who knew?!)

I bought a package of 3  last week at the Gap at Mall of America on sale for $9.99. I only paid that much because the 4 year old was getting red lines on his tummy from his underpants being too tight, and we really needed some bigger pairs. I usually pay a few dollars less than that for the 3 pair package. But I will pay a few cents more just to get the quality from those great Gap underpants.

What are some of your favorite under brands? Do you have a “tried and true” that your little one’s sport? Let me know.
